SMART CLINIC was born from the initiative of the San Donato Hospital Group (18 hospitals, 17 in Lombardy, including the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele) to offer a high quality health service that can adapt to the prevention and treatment needs of citizens in an agile, easily accessible, practical, affordable way, in a word “smart”. High quality with affordable prices, no waiting, direct access and/or by reservation, with extended hours (including Saturdays and Sundays). The SMART CLINIC is located on the second floor and can be reached via the lifts on the ground floor, near Nike, and on the first floor, near Casa Maioli. CLINIC HOURS: 7.30 a.m. - 8.00 p.m. In order to make medical examinations and services increasingly accessible and to meet the health and prevention needs of citizens, Smart Clinic Oriocenter has for some time now signed agreements with the main insurance bodies and supplementary funds (Fasi, Generali, Previmedical, etc.). Many agreements provide for the form of direct cover: the insurance company pays for medical services (in full or in part), thus avoiding the patient having to pay the full amount in advance. Others, on the other hand, provide for the indirect form: in this case, the patient advances the amount of the service and requests reimbursement from the insurance institution or supplementary fund. One of the latest novelties is the agreement recently activated with Unisalute, the first health insurance company in Italy in terms of number of clients managed, which takes care of the health of over 8.6 million people every day from the largest Italian companies, category health funds, and professional funds. Alternatively, the patient can submit the request for the service or examination directly on the Unisalute portal, indicating the preferred dates or times and the chosen facility from which he/she will be promptly contacted to confirm the appointment.
