
Cinema is an emotion that deserves to be experienced by everyone, without barriers.
World Autism Awareness Day invites us to reflect on how much it matters make meeting places genuinely open to all. At Oriocenter, this commitment translates into Concrete actions that last over time with the UCI Autism Friendly project, launched in 2019 together with UCI Cinemas.
Almost every Sunday, dedicated screenings are organised with specific adaptations to meet the sensory needs of the audience, thanks to the Autism Friendly Screening system. This is a particular environmental adaptation that makes it possible for individuals with sensory disorders and autism spectrum disorder to comfortably experience cinema in the theatre. Dimmed lights, lower sound levels, freedom of movement in the theatre during the screening, and the ability to bring food from home are all measures designed to make cinema a truly inclusive and welcoming place and to offer its guests an accessible and peaceful experience. Every viewer can feel at ease and enjoy the magic of the big screen in total serenity, respecting different sensory sensitivities and promoting a culture of genuine welcome.
On the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day of 2nd April I am Two Autism Friendly screenings of the new film are scheduled. Super Mario Galaxy, the film released in Italian cinemas on April 1st, confirming the desire to make even the most anticipated cinematic releases accessible. Screenings will be held at 4:45 PM and 7:15 PM.
The review continues as normal in the following weeks., with almost weekly Sunday appointments throughout the year. Among the upcoming titles scheduled are: Zootropolis 2 the 5th of April Elio The 12th of April.
Le projections of the UCI Autism Friendly review are offered free of charge by Oriocenter, confirming the Mall's concrete commitment to promoting initiatives of social value in the area.
