The short film “We Will Let You Know” among the five finalist titles at the Nastri d’Argento 2026

After the David di Donatello awards, “We will let you know” continues its successful run with the nomination for Silver Ribbons 2026.

Selected from approximately 300 fiction short films, “Le Faremo Sapere” is among the five finalist titles that will compete for the award, which will be presented on April 23rd in Rome.. A result that highlights the excellence of the work carried out and the short film's ability to stand out in a highly competitive context.

The Silver Ribbons, awarded by National Union of Italian Film Journalists (SNGCI), represent one of Italian cinema's most prestigious awards, and one of the oldest in Europe. For over 75 years, they have celebrated the best of film production, with a particular focus on new talent and short films, which are increasingly central to the discovery of new directorial voices.

The short film, created within the Seventh Art Festival project, promoted and supported by Oriocenter, is produced by Oki Doki Film, directed by Beppe Tufarulo and made with the support of Skillherz.

“Le Faremo Sapere” tackles the theme of the job interview with irony and lucidity from the perspective of Generation Z, subverting the traditional dynamics between candidate and company. The protagonists of the short film are Giorgio Marchesi and Antonia Fotaras, together with high school students who actively participated in the making on set, contributing concretely to all production phases.

The short film's journey so far has been marked by significant accolades at major national festivals, including the ANPIT Award and the Greenland FILM Award at Cortinametraggio, the awards for Best Screenplay and Best Lead Actor at the “E Fu Cinema” Festival in Pomarance, the Troisi Award at Videocorto Nettuno, and the Best Actor and Best Actress awards given to Giorgio Marchesi and Antonia Fotaras at Movievalley in Bologna.

The shortlisting for the Nastri d'Argento awards represents a further step forward in a journey that combines training, creativity, and professional production., highlighting the talent of the young people involved and demonstrating how initiatives such as Seventh Art Festival can generate concrete experiences and high-level results in the world of cinema.
