
“We will let you know”, a short film created as part of Oriocenter's work experience project - Seventh Art Festival – has been shortlisted for the David di Donatello Awards 2026 in the Best Short Film category. A highly prestigious award that brings a territorial training project to the most authoritative award in Italian cinema.
The shortlists were announced by the’Italian Film Academy - David di Donatello Awards and represent the preliminary phase that will lead, in March, the definition of official five. For the first time, among the categories The shortlist also includes the Best Short Film, category that saw more than 200 short films submitted, confirming the growing focus on short language and emerging cinema.
Produced by Oki Doki Film, directed by Beppe Tufarulo and realised with the support of Skillherz, “Le Faremo Sapere” tackles with irony and lucidity the theme of the job interview seen from the perspective of Generation Z, overturning the traditional roles between candidate and company. Protagonists of the short film are Giorgio Marchesi and Antonia Fotaras, joined by high school students actively involved in the production on the set.
The short film has already won major awards at several national festivals including: the ANPIT Award and the Greenland FILM Award at Cortinametraggio, prizes for Best Screenplay e Best leading actor received at the Festival “E Fu Cinema” of Pomarance, the Troisi Award at Neptune Video and two prizes for “Best Actor” e “Best Actress”, to Giorgio Marchesi and Antonia Fotaras, respectively, at the Movievalley in Bologna.
Selection for the David di Donatello Awards represents a significant milestone for Seventh Art Festival, confirming the value of a model that combines training, work and contemporary languages, and the role of Oriocenter as a promoter of cultural initiatives capable of transforming the educational experience into real film production.
