When the days get colder, the skin needs extra protection. Cold, wind and rain, combined also with pollution, can damage it, especially if dry and sensitive.
But don’t worry ... some beauty remedies can help! First of all, the watchword is nourishment. Green light to cream based on nutrients such as shea butter and honey, along with vitamins and minerals.
The face can be cleaned with no-rinse cleansing milk that respects the skin's hydro-lipid film. Then apply a moisturizer that can create a barrier against cold.
The foundation too can be a valuable ally and create a shield especially for sensitive skin, better with creamy and nutritious texture. At night put on the face a generous dose of a rich cream.
The lips are among the body parts most prone to cracking, and they should be protected and repaired with the constant use of cocoa butter. Also hands need to be protected, and the best products are based on glycerine or soothing calendula and aloe, or shea butter.
In the shower, better to use oil-based and not aggressive products.
Hair need some extra attention, and specific masks and shampoos can help protect them from damage and pollution and keep them hydrated and shiny.
The beauty of the skin, however, should be maintained with the diet too! It is important to strengthen the defenses by bringing to the table every day fruits and vegetables that provide vitamins and minerals, essential in the fight against cold.
